Audit

Audit shows recent records of important changes. It helps setup users answer: who changed this, what changed, and when?

Audit records give setup users a trace of changes against the event.

When to use it

Use audit when:

  • an access change needs checking;
  • a template was applied and you want to confirm it;
  • a map or module setting changed unexpectedly;
  • the show team asks why something appeared or disappeared.

Audit is not a live incident log. Use Event Control for the operational record.

Best practice

Check audit after major setup changes and before show day sign-off. It catches accidental edits while there is still time to fix them.

Event actions show Access via when a single organisation clearly supplies the relevant authority. When several could apply, Nexus records the person and action target without guessing one company. The access organisation is separate from the organisation that owns the event. Event Control log audit entries follow the same agency visibility as the logs themselves.
